I installed two of your Stairway Special Gates over seven and a half years ago and they are still working. Over that time, they have contained three children and our youngest (age 3) still can’t figure out the locking system.  In this day of cheap plastic consumables, I felt a strong need to write a letter of thanks as your gates stood up to constant abuse of slamming and an occasional ride.
As we begin the removal of child safety products it’s interesting to note that only the Cardinal Gates and your Safety Drawer Latches remain.  Another interesting point, these products have lasted longer than the recently replaced family minivan.
